A bit about me

I'm Nahom, a product engineer based in New York. I live in the frontend but I'm comfortable across the whole stack, and what I really enjoy is taking an idea all the way to something people actually use.

Over the last 7+ years I've worked across React, Next.js, Node, and Postgres, shipping web features, custom payment flows, and consumer AI products. These days I'm building features end to end at a NYC ecommerce company, and on the side I ship my own things: a free IPTV platform that grew to thousands of users, an AI resume builder, and a civic tool that makes NYC legislation readable.

I care about how things feel, not just whether they work. I sweat the small details, lean on tools like Cursor and Claude Code to move fast, and try to leave every project a little more polished than I found it.
